Dana is a knowledgeable, energetic, high performing agent, one of the very best. She helped us find a rare three-bedroom condo in a city that does not offer many, and was tireless in alerting us to possibilities, showing us around the city, and educating us on where we would find it most comfortable to live. When she did not know the answer to our questions, she called upon her superb contacts, both within the Grubb Company and in the escrow company. I would hire her again in a flash and strong recommend her if you are looking to buy or sell a home in Oakland, Berkeley or Piedmont. She is also a lovely individual with whom it was a pleasure to work.

You cannot do better than Dana. Period.
Represented my partner and I as buyers in the oh so crazy Oakland real estate market. Dana was patient with us through failed offers, no offers on places we were not in love with, and had invaluable encouragement and advice throughout the process. Dana is surgical in bringing her expertise and time to bear, which results in a pressure free representation with no "busy work" or needless activity that can sometimes arise in the house hunt. When viewing homes, all seller agents know Dana and that went a long way in getting information and being taken seriously. Dana also put us in touch with our insurance broker and mortgagee, great structures and terms on both.
Dana also is accessible after purchase; we have reached out for, and received, numerous recommendations for contractors, designers, etc., and we regularly receive updates on the market and things going on on the neighborhood and region to participate in and become part of the community. We were thrilled to have her stop by and see the place during the holidays! Dana is our agent for life in this region. Highly, highly recommend.

Dana is fantastic. She represented us as buyers in an insane market, and she patiently worked with us for almost a year. Dana wrote offers for us in some cases that she knew we were unlikely to get, and she always gave it her all on every offer. She really does treat the process as if she is buying her own home, and we always felt like we were in very good hands.
Connections are extremely important in Real Estate, and Dana is super connected in the East Bay. We would go to open houses, and the listing agents all knew Dana and they would literally perk up when they heard her name. She also has a great collection of contractors to recommend during the inspection process and post close, and she is great at answering questions and providing ideas for her clients.
Finally, Dana is extremely ethical, and she treats everyone fairly and honestly. There were a couple of times when Dana had concerns on a property, and we ultimately decided not to go to offer -- at least partially based on her feedback. It was refreshing to have a realtor that was "in your corner", and I highly recommend her if you are buying or selling in the Berkeley/Oakland/Piedmont area.

Dana helped us sell our Oakland home in October 2014 and I would definitely recommend her as a seller or buyers agent. She gave us excellent guidance on how to prepare our home for sale. She was available when we needed her, patient with tough decisions, and all around great to work with.

Absolutely top notch realtor. Dana deftly handled the fixing-up of my well located but outdated craftsman cottage and brought me a fabulous price. She knows a fleet of repair, maintenance, staging and other professionals at ALL levels of expense.
Dana was very skilled at dealing with the myriad of people connected to the transaction: the soon-to-be-former tenant, the neighbors, cleaners, fellow realtors from across the Bay Area. She is charming, smart, incredibly hard working. She truly advocated for me at every turn. I never waited more than 10 minutes for my call to be returned, even though Dana has a constant stream of clients. I've never met any professional who seems so much to be a perfect fit for her work. You absolutely could not do better if you are selling a home in the East Bay.
