Dana is an incredible agent. She helped us navigate the real estate market as first time house buyers, unfamiliar with the area in one of the toughest buyers markets in decades. We worked with Dana to buy our new home and then sell our old one. She was recommended by a friend and helped my parents in law and sister in law each buy their homes when they moved to the area and they had great experiences with her.
While the buying and selling process is daunting with a ton of moving parts, Dana guided us through with clarity, kindness and poise, giving us confidence at each step of the way. She is also extremely organized and efficient.
We always felt that we were in good hands with Dana and received all the attention we could have hoped for - all of our questions were taken seriously and Dana was always responsive and available. We bought and sold quickly with no loose ends and we owe Dana a great deal for being such a stable and trustworthy partner and leader.

Dana is a knowledgeable, energetic, high performing agent, one of the very best. She helped us find a rare three-bedroom condo in a city that does not offer many, and was tireless in alerting us to possibilities, showing us around the city, and educating us on where we would find it most comfortable to live. When she did not know the answer to our questions, she called upon her superb contacts, both within the Grubb Company and in the escrow company. I would hire her again in a flash and strong recommend her if you are looking to buy or sell a home in Oakland, Berkeley or Piedmont. She is also a lovely individual with whom it was a pleasure to work.

You cannot do better than Dana. Period.
Represented my partner and I as buyers in the oh so crazy Oakland real estate market. Dana was patient with us through failed offers, no offers on places we were not in love with, and had invaluable encouragement and advice throughout the process. Dana is surgical in bringing her expertise and time to bear, which results in a pressure free representation with no "busy work" or needless activity that can sometimes arise in the house hunt. When viewing homes, all seller agents know Dana and that went a long way in getting information and being taken seriously. Dana also put us in touch with our insurance broker and mortgagee, great structures and terms on both.
Dana also is accessible after purchase; we have reached out for, and received, numerous recommendations for contractors, designers, etc., and we regularly receive updates on the market and things going on on the neighborhood and region to participate in and become part of the community. We were thrilled to have her stop by and see the place during the holidays! Dana is our agent for life in this region. Highly, highly recommend.
