We love Liat! We will be forever grateful for her successful efforts in selling our home. We tried once before with another agent and it was not successful. We were very hesitant to try again after such a terrible experience and disappointment with the first attempt in selling our home, but Liat sold our neighbors home for well over their asking price. They had nothing but wonderful things to say about her, so we decided to go for it. Liat is a true professional and got the job done. She made smart recommendations, like getting every type of inspection possible and bids for repairs. This provided potential buyers with a complete disclosure package and no possible surprises to come up during their inspections. I appreciated her honesty, steady and calm demeanor, and her attention to detail. She coordinated all our contractors/vendors making the stress of moving out/getting ready for sale easier. Becuase of Liat, we were able to sell our home for enough to purchase another home we had been looking at. Without her, I don't think we would have been able to do such a complicated transaction (selling & purchasing at the same time). I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an agent!

I never write reviews, but I feel I should take the time to write some well deserved comments. Liat is definitely a very responsible and reliable realtor, experienced as well. I am relatively new to Oakland, I have my own license from other states, and I have been looking for a long time. I know my numbers and I know what I was looking for(for my parents). Liat handled the process very professionally. I know it is a competitive market and I wanted someone very responsive and familiar with local practice to guide me. I tried several realtors but didn't feel impressed, and I met Liat at an open house for her listing, and had a good vibe. So I started asking her to show me places that I picked out, she always responded very quickly, and gave professional advice which I chose to follow. I believe we got a good deal. In addition, Liat has great relationship with other people, which was evident in the fact that she quickly got together 4 contractors in one day to give me quote on some work that need to be done. She said it was lucky but I think it does have a lot to do with her networking and professional ability. She was keeping an eye on everything so I really didn't have to think about it too much. and if I needed to push the loan officer a bit, she told me about it. Overall, she was a pro during the whole process, and I am relatively hard to please, so I think she is definitely impressive. Just one advice for other house hunters, Oakland is a diverse neighborhood, you really have to do your own research about neighborhoods and places you feel comfortable with, do multiple drive by/walk by etc..visit open houses,don't blindly get into bidding wars, realtor is there to help the negotiation process but you need to know what you want in terms of the area and zero in, and once you are sure, you are more likely to bid the right amount and not have buyer's remorse afterwards.

I could not have asked for a better Realtor. I met Liat at an open house while my partner and I were passively looking and just adored her from the beginning. When we decided to get serious about purchasing a home we had to hunt her information down because we just knew she was the right agent for us. She was so knowledgeable about the area we were moving to, about the different neighborhoods and the market we were shopping in. If anyone in the Bay Area has ever shopped for a home, they know how competitive and stressful it can be. Oakand especially is one of the most up and coming, difficult markets to buy in. People get outbid all the time and everything goes for way over asking. Liat walked us through it, every step of the way. She was there anytime we had any questions and she was very direct, honest, and straight forward without being biased or pushy in any way. I always felt like I could trust her to tell me the truth, but she never tried to sway our decision and she never made assumptions about what was right for us. We just moved into our new home a few weeks ago, we are so happy and we could not have done it without her. Liat is probably the best in the business. I have coworkers looking and I have heard horror stories from them. I've told them all to call Liat. ;)

Liat has my highest recommendation as a real estate agent. Never having sold a house before, I didn't know what to expect, but she walked me through the entire process, always anticipating what needed to be done and making sure that everything was done on time so that there were no unnecessary delays. Liat is helpful, responsive, knowledgeable, efficient, conscientious, and experienced, and she has a great network of colleagues, services, and tradespeople who can help with repairs and inspections. She helped me price the house fairly and arranged for local listings and open houses so that the sale reached a wide prospective market. Liat is not only professional in all aspects of her business, but also kind and understanding of any special issues or interests that you may have when buying or selling a house. She really listens to what you want, then gives great advice on the basis of her extensive experience. I would have no hesitation to do business with her again.

My husband and I are recent transplants to the area from NYC. We started looking for homes immediately as we know how crazy this market is. Initially we had another realtor who we did not mesh with at all and did not listen to our needs or even try to understand where we were coming from. After some drama, we needed to find a new realtor. We stumbled upon Liat from a referral from a colleague on a house we wanted to bid on (luckily her colleague also had morals and also did not want to be a buyer and seller's agent). Initially we did not meet as we had to get an offer in. Once that fell through we met in person. Liat was very responsive throughout the entire process. My husband and I were first time home buyers here and the process was frustrating, but she helped us get through it and even recommended a good mortgage broker that fit with our personalities better than the one we were already working with. Besides being knowledgeable about the market and neighborhoods, she is also a good negotiator. She also listened to us and even when she didn't think our requests to the seller were reasonable, she listened and in the end we got a better deal. We like that she was working with us because it also means she is open to learning new things in her field when she is already really great and good at her job! (i also heard from other realtors at open houses, that "Liat knows what she is doing.") Once we finally had an offer accepted, Liat did not just move on. We had some pretty extreme circumstances and she was able to work with us and the sellers to allow us to even put a security system & internet BEFORE we moved in (which we needed for special circumstances). Liat spent hours at the house with us and the installers to help get this done. She also gave us names of contractors, plumbers, electricians, etc as there is work to be done. We've only been in the house about 6 weeks, but have been able to get a good amount of work done because of her willingness to help. She is still reaching out to us and answering questions as they come! If we need to sell our house or buy again, we would easily go back to Liat! She definitely goes above and beyond! Highly recommended!

I found Liat after doing some stealthy research using yelp, just as I assume you are doing. She was easy to get in contact with and meet immediately. During our first meeting, I could quickly tell she is very professional and knowledgeable in the real estate business. Her patience and guidance throughout selling my Oakland Hills condo was reassuring. My condo was on the market for a little over a month, and she tirelessly held Open Houses to keep interest and activity on my property. I ended up receiving multiple offers and accepted the offer which was for over asking! Liat was warm and friendly throughout the entire process, while making necessary appointments to get my condo ready for the competitive bay area market. Even after purchasing a new home, she keeps in contact to check up on my family.
