Liat is warm and pleasant to spend time with, a key consideration for this long process. She was very patient and her reassuring manner helped us to be patient as well. She was quick to grasp what we were looking for in a home and neighborhood while also presenting us with a range of options throughout Oakland and Berkeley, which was also key, as our criteria shifted over the course of our search. When it came time to make bids, Liat helped us to stay optimistic after a few bids fell short. Then, when we found the house we ended up buying, her frank assessment and accurate predictions throughout the process helped give us the confidence that we were making the right decision. Liat was amazing to work with while closing on my first home! She took what is an extremely daunting process and walked me through it with great ease. Liat is an amazing realtor. She truly cares about her clients and always has your best interest in mind. We used Liat to help us sell our house in Oakland. My husband and I were both switching careers which led us to leave California with very little notice to Liat. She handled pretty much EVERYTHING for us. From scheduling the contractors to come give us bids, to guiding us through making decisions on what improvements were necessary, she took away a lot of stress. She is very honest, "tells it how it is" and is always on her clients side. Our house was on the market for a very short period of time and we received multiple offers. We closed within 22 days and everything went seamless. I know there are a lot of variables when it comes to selling & closing on a house, but Liat did everything she could do to make it go smoothly. We were successful in buying a home with Liat on the first offer we wrote with her. Prior to Liat, we had worked with another real estate agent for some time and had many unsuccessful offers behind us (and the battle scars to prove it). Liat, however, is very strategic and extremely knowledgeable about the idiosyncratic Oakland market. That, combined with her diligence and professionalism, really set her apart. She is also very responsive and held our hand through what was a nerve-wracking closing process, literally touching base with us and/or our mortgage broker on a daily basis to ensure everything went smoothly. In looking for an agent, we weren't terribly concerned about personality as we just wanted someone who could help us successfully navigate this competitive market and get into a home of our own but the fact that Liat is so very warm and caring was, for us, the icing on the cake.
Post-purchase, she continues to be a wonderful resource, connecting us with reputable tradesmen. We *highly* recommend Liat.

Liat is the best. She is very responsive, personable, knows the market, thinks strategically, and provides great advice. She is a good listener and compassionate; she knows when to let you be and when to help you think things through. My brothers and I were selling our parents' house in Oakland after our father passed. The prepping, then selling was pretty tough. Liat was there to guide us, help when needed, and respectful when we needed to draw back and consider. She made sure that "all the ducks were in a row" before we went on the market so that the process went very smoothly. I would work with Liat again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her!

I very highly recommend Liat as your Realtor. She is the Best of the best. She has tremendous integrity and is always strong and poised on behalf of the seller-client. At a moment's notice, she springs into action, mastering all the details at hand. Liat is professional and helpful and always will lock the deal. Liat recently sold my grandfather's home in Oakland and went above and beyond to assist our long distance (east coast) family in the process. She found us movers, haulers, handymen, etc. She was readily available at all times, kind and patient. Liat helped make this seamless and easy which was no easy feat. Needless to say, we highly recommend Liat and are grateful to have found her!

Liat was amazing to work with. She was so patient with us as she showed us around the Montclair, Glenview, Crocker and Oakmore neighborhoods. She was honest and informative about each area, never trying to push us hard in any direction - she clearly just wanted us to understand everything we needed to know so we could make the best decision as we moved from SF. The best part is when we did the find the home we really wanted, with her counsel we got it! We couldn't believe it. And her amazing partnership did not end there; since we purchased the home she has continued to act as an amazing Montclair mentor helping us with childcare, gardners, restaurants etc. I highly highly recommend you work with her - you will not be disappointed!

Liat wasthe perfect realtor for us. My husband and I met Liat at a home she was showing a few years ago, when we were just beginning to think about buying a house. We were newbies and this was our first open house. The open house was very busy, but she focused on us without being distracted by all the ins and outs. As first time home buyers with no information, she helped us with resources and education about home buying, mortgages, etc.
Fast forward a year- we we're ready to begin the search. Liat helped us to start our search and spent time to get to know what we wanted in a home. She helped us narrow down everything to focus our search. She coached us through our offers and ultimately her advice led us to our perfect home.
