A friend recommended Liat Bostick as a selling agent for my house in the Laurel District of Oakland, California, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. From the first day I met with her through until the transaction closed, she was a wonderful communicator and project manager, walking me through the timeline and every detail of the process and always available to answer my questions. She is also genuine and kind and a great listener. Liat coordinated everything from soup to nuts: from getting estimates to scheduling the actual work, for painters, landscapers, handymen, house cleaners, window washers, and stagers. I appreciated her insight and advice on pricing strategies and her honest assessment on the value of my house in an uncertain market. As first time home buyers, Liat was a dream to work with. Over a few meetings, she asked us about our criteria, gave knowledgeable feedback, explained the different parts of a disclosure packet, and also taught us about the parts of an offer. Liat was always patient and responsive to our questions, and kept us in the loop on upcoming houses in our areas of interest. Once we made an offer, Liat also kept us in the loop on competition and negotiation strategies.
After our offer was accepted, she made sure the process was smooth, keeping in touch with the seller agent as well as with us to ensure all the inspections and negotiations resolved on schedule. In addition to her own expertise and knowledge about real estate itself, Liat went above and beyond, connecting us with trusted vendors for various functions, showing us in so many ways that she was invested in the process and thrilled for us once we got the house. We would absolutely recommend working with Liat.

We feel so very lucky to know Liat and to have had the privilege of working with her through three contracts!
We met Liat in 2014 when we were shopping for our first home. We thought we were Oakland experts but Liat introduced us to the perfect neighborhood, one we knew nothing about. Of course, that's no longer the case... the neighborhood was on the cusp of becoming a destination when we bought there and we were so happy to see the value of our home grow and grow.
By 2022, our family had expanded and we realized we'd outgrown our home. Liat helped us field multiple offers for our sweet little house and we sold for a price that left us with a hefty investment for a new home in Alameda... with two bathrooms (our one must-have)!
One thing that really sets Liat apart is her project management expertise. We moved from our old home to stage/sell before we were ready to purchase. Liat was a lifesaver in helping us find the right painter, stager, handyman, house cleaner and hauler to keep us on schedule. Liat's advice helped us locate the perfect temporary housing situation while we shopped for a home and -- as stressful as it was -- the timing ending up working out perfectly. Liat is much more than a buyer's/seller's agent... she is an expert in transition who made a tricky process easier at every step.

I worked with Liat in selling my condo in Oakland. She is terrific. She recommended sprucing the condo up with such things as painting, replacing out-dated lighting fixtures, new kitchen flooring, and new bedroom carpeting, and of course staging. It looked spectacular when everything was finished - I hardly recognized the place. She arranged and supervised all the contractors, and at the same time kept me in the loop with everything. She also answered all my questions, helped me fill out all the forms, and supported me throughout the process.
