I am very happy to have selected Jane Strauch as my realtor. She is very personable and professional. Her years of experience have given her a deep understanding of the local real estate market so I was very confident about her advice regarding timing, pricing, marketing and all the intangibles that make for success. Jane and her assistant Carrie Sullivan have assembled a great team of experts for downsizing and packing (a special shout-out to Kimberley Sweeney's "Moving Angels"), repairs, painting and staging. By the time my house hit the market it looked stunning: I almost didn't recognize it! Jane and Carrie kept me updated about each step in the process so I always knew what to expect. Jane and Carrie exceeded ALL of our expectations. They were ON it all the time. Taking great care of us and ALL our needs in selling our house. They were always in tuned to how we were feeling, helping us get our house ready for sale in a timely manner and were alway in constant contact with us. They made us feel like they always had us as their priority. We wish there are more than 5 stars to give them!

Jane and her assistant, Carrie Sullivan, make a great team and are extremely professional. When I was selling my house, they followed up on my questions, knew the two home inspectors, knew the right floor man and painter, and, of course, the stager who did a fabulous job and totally transformed my house! Throughout it all, they also had to deal with the buyer's questions and insure that their loan was proceeding for escrow to close. Oh, and that mass of forms and those disclosure statements; OMG!

Jane and Carrie worked closely with us over a period of a few months to help us purchase a home in Piedmont and then sell our home in Oakland. Throughout the process, they both provided invaluable advice about when to buy, what to look for, and how to approach making an offer. They are such a fun duo that work so well together - it was a pleasure each time we communicated.
Although Jane and Carrie know the market as well as anyone can, and they both go above and beyond the normal realtor experience, probably the best attribute of their representation is that they know, and have an open line of communication to, pretty much every other agent in the area (which was instrumental to getting our offer accepted in an incredibly competitive market).

Jane and Carrie are fantastic. My wife and I were searching for a home in Piedmont for our growing family, and after an initial discussion walking through our preferences, Jane quickly got to work. So quick, in fact, that we had an offer accepted in this highly competitive market within 4 days on a home that checks all of our boxes, and then some. Given the quick turn, Jane made sure that we felt comfortable moving forward, and was incredibly responsive along the way to answer any and all questions we had. The service hardly stopped once the offer was accepted, and both Jane and Carrie remained involved throughout the escrow process, including recommendation of (and coordination with) vendors for various house projects. Truly a great experience all around and we feel grateful to have had the opportunity to partner with this team!

Jane Strauch was recommended highly by trusted local friends, to sell my Oakland home. She achieved or exceeded all expectations, including those from my own experience of buying and selling several homes in multiple locations with the help of excellent realtors.
Jane, and her professional associates, especially Assistant Carrie Sullivan, all provided a very smooth efficient process, priority attentiveness to me as a client, and wise, seasoned advice at all times. The marketing and sale was quick and achieved our agreed upon goals.
This would be a fantastic experience under any circumstances. It was even more so considering the entire process, from first call to final closing and follow-up, took place during a global pandemic and local shelter-in-place orders, with all the related safety precautions and legal regulations.
