I was fortunate enough to meet Regina when she was the selling agent for the home I purchased. When it came time for me to sell, Regina was the clear choice. From the start Regina laid out a clear plan, listened to my input and gave me her expert advice. Her crew were incredibly professional, reliable and made the house shine! With a quick turnaround, I was able to choose from multiple offers that were far beyond the neighborhood comps and my highest hopes. But the real value Regina gave me was support and understanding during some emotional moments during the process. I knew I was working with a real estate master but in addition, Regina was with me every step of the way with sage, reassuring advice making the sale as smooth as possible.

Regina Jacobs of The Grubb Company renovated the 1962 spec house that I co-own. Regina is a consummate professional. She handled every detail of the sale of our home with her partner Thomas Craig.
Her team fully renovated our dated home. There were so many wonderful, hard working team members handling each and every detail from the exterior painting, to picking complimentary interior wall colors, photographers, an artist who staged the house with the most beautiful furnishings, to just really cool guys dismantling and assembling all details relevant to the renovation, the team members who brought the decor, the people who polished the wood floors, installed new flooring, I could write a novel, I really could.
They were all lovely. Thank you to Regina Jacobs and her entire team at The Grubb Company, what a great experience.

We recently sold our Oakmore home, and Regina held our hand every step of the way. After an initial meeting with Regina and Tom, we were very impressed with their level of experience, their professionalism and their strategy for getting our house on the market quickly and making it as marketable as possible to attract potential buyers. We could not be any happier with our selling process and final outcome. We put our full trust in Regina and were happy to do so. I can honestly say we will miss our phone calls and check-ins with her. Not only is she amazing at her job, but she is a genuinely thoughtful and caring person, who takes an interest in her clients' lives.

We recently sold our home in Oakmore and Regina and Tom made that process as painless as possible. We had stopped in at Regina's open houses in the neighborhood fairly often and she was always happy to talk to us about things that we could do to make our house more competitive if and when the time came to sell.
The time came and we contacted Regina and Tom. They were excellent to work with and we strongly recommend them if you are planning on selling in Oakland.
Pros: Extremely professional and transparent; excellent project management; informative and supportive when it comes to difficult decisions; great vision for maximizing the house's potential; always available to answer any questions (we had tons of seemingly silly ones); helpful when it came to executing the vision (Regina showed up in the rain - in a pick up truck - to bring light fixtures to the house); they work with great contractors who don't charge and arm and a leg; extremely helpful when it came to reviewing offers.
Cons: Can't say we noticed any!
We are very satisfied with our experience with Regina and Tom. If we had to do it over again we would use them without hesitation.

Regina and Tom worked with us to sell our home in Oakmore. We were very happy with their experience, professionalism, and efficiency. They did a fantastic job helping us make informed decisions on getting the house prepared for the market. They also did all the managing of the contractors doing the construction, painting, landscaping, and staging (with a network of high quality and affordable contractors). Additionally, their marketing capabilities and market strategies for the sale were fantastic. Regina and Tom were great!!! You should definitely consider them, even if you're set on someone else. At least meet them...you won't be disappointed. Regina and Tom helped us with every aspect of getting our home ready for sale, but also stepped back when we wanted something specific; it was a real partnership that led to a great result.
We will definitely use Regina and Tom in the future, in addition to recommending them to anyone who wants quality representation.

Regina and Tom are the best real estate team you could hope for when selling a house in Oakland and we'd recommend them to anyone looking to get full market value for their home!
The actual "selling" part is just a small fraction of the service they provide their clients. 2 years before our sale, Regina came to our home to advice how the market might respond to large renovation. She made helpful recommendations and connected us with an excellent Architect which we used for our project.
When prepping our house for sale she helped us plan how best to utilize our budget and coordinated bids for flooring, landscaping, painting, roofing, staging, and general handyman work. It was a huge undertaking and they made it seem easy.
Once our budget was set they project managed everything and our home was looking its absolute best by the first open house.
We had an extremely positive experience working with Regina and Tom and can honestly say the value they provide their customers far exceeds the competition.

What can I say? Our deal almost fell apart several times but Regina was our stalwart safety net. She kept us informed every step of the way and brought her style, her commitment and competitive spirit to the table. No matter what curve (and there were plenty) got thrown at us, she stood tall, protecting us! We recommend her highly; she is the best in the Glenview area!!
