Buying a home is incredibly stressful in the best of cases, especially in the Bay Area. Liat was an excellent guide and source of support through our journey. She answered our questions, delved into our inconsistent and emotional reactions around this life change without an ounce of frustration, and most of all, she kept us aligned, organized, and moving forward towards a positive outcome. Liat was a trustworthy ally and clearly very motivated by getting us into the right house, rather than pressuring us to compromise on a lesser option. Even when we were feeling like we'd never find a home we could love, she gave us the confidence and encouragement to listen to our hearts and keep searching. Liat is no-nonsense, clear, and brings a blend of enthusiasm and realism that grounded our hopes and dreams in practicality and effective use of our time and energy in our house search. She didn't let us skate by with wishful thinking, but also didn't ever pressure us to make an offer that pushed our boundaries. She is the exception to every negative thing I've heard about real estate agents. We literally would not have been able to do this without her, and I would definitely work with her again and recommend her to anyone who's looking to buy or sell a house.

As I sit here during day 3 in our new home I am reflecting on the journey that brought us here to our home. There were many phases we passed through & steep learning curves that were traversed throughout the 11 month journey. The one element that remained consistent, ever steady, responsive, nurturing and dynamic was our Realtor, Liat Bostick of Coldwell Banker. I refer to her now as the House Whisper. She played roles of therapist, educator, negotiator, navigator & confidant throughout the entire process without applying an iota of pressure on us. Her primary goal & focus was to ensure that we find the home that was uniquely suited to us and contained the quality of coming home. Liat is an incredible communicator, who possesses the skill & bravery to discuss the difficult topics that arose as we were making one of the largest & key investments of our lives. Thinking back, I do not understand how she accomplished making us feel like we were her only clients while simultaneously managing additional clients. Her response time to each inquiry, no matter how small or repetitive was nothing short of stellar. When I think about the qualities of Liat's personality, such as honesty, fearlessness, communicative, personable, warmth & a healthy dose of good old fashioned down to earth quality, they come together in a cohesive picture of who should be by your side when making the life changing decision of purchasing a home. I wish we could copy paste Liat across the industry changing the face of Real Estate as a profession where the clients needs are met, realized and placed first above all else.

Liat is fantastic! When my husband and I began our search for our first house we knew that we needed a qualified real estate agent. Liat was fantastic and we are so lucky we were referred to her by another satisfied buyer couple in the Montclair area. Liat was totally on top of everything throughout the whole process and best of all was proactive in anticipating our needs, concerns, etc. - I've learned this is hard to find in service professionals. Liat is very detailed oriented, providing all the timelines and checklists I could ask for as a detailed first time home buyer myself. She was also patient through many long phone at any time of day to help walk me through complicated matters like hiring inspectors, structural engineers, and roofers. Speaking of which, Liat seems to know everyone in the home industry that you'd want to know. People will go out of their way to provide you with helpful info when you drop her name. Liat also listens and has great intuition about her customer desires in a home. We showed her some homes we liked and described why features were important to us in our first meeting. The very first house Liat showed us was the one we ended up purchasing a month later after looking at countless places and when it luckily came back on the market after a failed purchase contract by another buyer! She knew better than us what we really wanted! Basically I can't say enough good things about Liat!
