My husband and I are writing to provide our most fervent recommendation for Leonore Deaton, realtor. Leonore helped us to buy our first home in December of 2023, during a particularly challenging time in the real estate market, and we are grateful for everything she has done for us.
When we decided to jump in, Leonore patiently and expertly walked us through the home-buying process, making sure that our many questions had answers and that our concerns and anxieties were soothed. She took time to get to know what we wanted and provided guidance and suggestions to lead us in the direction of homes that both suited our needs and fit into our budget scenarios. She identified a number of homes for us to visit, talked us through our evaluations, regularly checked in with sellers' agents, and kept us continually updated throughout the bidding process. She was comforting and determined during several unsuccessful bids, and to the end, never lost faith that we would find a perfect home for us. After 30 years in our Crocker Highlands home, my wife Glenna and I were ready to downsize and find a new home that was physically more suitable, and to cash in on our accrued equity for a comfortable retirement. After a brief interviewing process, we chose Leonore to represent us on the sale of our home and we could not have asked for better care and attendance to our needs than what we received from her. From the start she communicated clearly and honestly about the home selling process that we were embarking on. Throughout the sales process she updated us almost daily, keeping us informed on the level of interest and her communications with potential buyers' agents. This review is long overdue! Leonore sold my Piedmont Avenue Condo in 2021 and I was very pleased to have her represent me. She managed a great team who painted, retiled one of the showers, and prepared my home in a timely manner to be ready for the market. The stagers she works with, really made my home shine and it turned out so beautiful that I almost wanted to move back in! On offer day she presented me with five offers. I was very happy with the sales price and we closed without problems.
Leonore also helped me find my new house, with an amazing garden retreat, which I love. I was looking to buy a new home at a time when the market was very competitive. Attentive and knowledgeable, Leonore was a strong advocate for me which truly led to my success in buying my dream house.
