When I first moved to Montclair from New York to join my husband, a California native, I fell in love a second time – with the Bay Area. Our two sons were born and raised here; they attended Oakland public schools, where I became an active volunteer. I also served on the boards of Blue Skies for Children, an exceptional childcare center in Oakland, and the Women's Initiative for Self Employment.
Little did I realize I would soon become a real estate entrepreneur! After earning my degrees from Northeastern and attending grad school at New York University’s Stern School of Business, I enjoyed an exciting career in marketing and project management. Back then, I handled products, services, and events for clients like Charles Schwab. I often was herding cats, with multiple simultaneous deadlines and several tasks careening forward at the same time.
Real estate isn't that different. Working with clients, I am the orchestra conductor. Ultra-organized, sleeves rolled up, I track every detail and dot every i. I know that project management is the backbone of a successful real estate practice. It's the calm confidence upon which smooth collaborations and problem-solving sit. It's what I do. It's the foundation upon which my real estate practice is built.
I'm thrilled to use my sharply honed skills – collaboration, resource management, and keeping the client top of mind -– every day now. After living in Montclair for more than twenty years, I'm still passionate about my neighborhood and feel a desire to give back. The Grubb's Co's dedication and service align with this intention. They offer the necessary guidance to tackle the Bay Area's unique challenges and opportunities.
With company resources behind me, I enjoy the detective work of finding the right fit for my clients, whether it be a diamond in the rough or their turn-key dream house. To be honest, it's thrilling to jump into real estate knowing that know my prior professional skills merge perfectly with my local expertise. I look forward to surpassing all your expectations!
