Even as a young girl, dragging my parents to every airshow in California and Nevada, I have always harnessed a drive within me to pursue my passions. Whether all things aerospace (I earned a full Air Force scholarship to Cal) or learning how to surf, once I focus on a goal, that is all I can think about! For decades now, that passion and focus has been real estate.
Introduced to this business in 1988 by my father-in-law (he was an active broker well into his nineties), I offer my clients the benefit of more than 30 years’ professional experience and personal knowledge of the Bay Area’s real estate landscape. I was born and raised in the East Bay and am now raising my children here. I’m intimately familiar with local neighborhoods, microclimates, schools, and market trends.
Being present for a successful transition in my clients’ lives truly brings me joy. Older clients hold a special place in my heart; having lived with my grandparents growing up, I developed a sensibility to their needs and priorities that makes working with seniors especially rewarding. A fierce negotiator, I work equally well with buyers and sellers.
For all my clients, I offer solid strategy, comprehensive oversight, and attention to detail. At the heart of my my practice, I am an educator. I am passionate about teaching, especially first-time home buyers, the process of being successful in buying a home. Easily able to tune into my clients’ wishes and worries, I respond by preemptively handling their concerns with grace. My commitment to protect them and advocate for them with skill and finesse is made sweeter when they also become dear friends!
I’ve learned that in real estate, good chemistry, kindness, and a sense of humor go a long way. I serve on the Board of Directors for our local association and am a Traveling Director for the California Association of Realtors. I serve on three CAR committees as well: Professional Standards (ethics), Professional Development, and Global Real Estate. I have been trained in Mediation by the Pepperdine Law School program for Realtors. I serve as an Ombudsman for our Association and for the CAR. During the COVID-19 lockdown, I am delivering groceries to those sheltering in place. In my off hours, I’m an avid gardener and a quilter. I am loyal, organized, respectful. It would be an honor to earn your trust and helping you with your life transition!
