Kelly Deal became a Realtor® in 2000 after 20 years as a Registered Nurse. As a RN, Kelly provided care to extremely ill patients at many prominent California medical centers including Mt. Diablo-John Muir Medical Center in Contra Costa. As a nurse, Kelly honed her professional skills including listening, reliability, and accountability. She assisted her patients and their families in making important decisions about their health and well-being. These skills have served as assets in her career as a real estate agent.

Kelly and her family live in the Montclair/Piedmont Pines community in the Oakland Hills. She is an active volunteer and member of the Children’s Support League that supports at-risk families in the Bay Area.

Kelly’s husband, Marvin Deal, is a well known and respected builder and designer of many homes in our community. He has remodeled homes in Northern California, and completed six major projects in the Oakland Hills. They included a new Arts and Crafts style home, a revamping of a mid-century ranch home and an extensive renovation of a historically significant home in Crocker Highlands that was also highlighted by the Children Support League’s Piedmont Home Tour in 2007. Marvin always has several projects under development.
